Additionally, patients with certain types of skin irritation or damage in the treatment area, including sunburned skin, rosacea, and rashes, will likely need to complete a targeted pre-treatment protocol to ensure complete healing before undergoing this procedure.

Before Your Treatment

  • Stop retinol use 1 week prior to treatment, and exfoliating active ingredients like scrubs and acids 5 days prior.
  • Limit direct sun exposure for 72 hours prior to treatment. We cannot treat you if you are sunburned.

Hydrafacial works to bring impurities to the surface and remove them—you may experience slight purging after. This is a good sign that the treatment is hard at work!

SPF will be applied after your facial. Use SPF daily to protect your skin.

Your provider will make recommendations for a gentle skincare routine for approximately 1 week—no facial exfoliation.
