Sheila has worked at Coachlight Clinic & Spa and Des Moines Plastic Surgery for 11 years and she has over 18 years of experience doing Botox Cosmetic, Dysport, Juvederm Products, Restylane, Kybella and Radiesse. Her expertise is Botox Cosmetic, wrinkle and lip filler injections. She has worked in the plastic surgery field serving in many different positions since 1988. Her designation as a master injector with the practice includes completing over 25,000 hours of injectable treatments, and has been practicing her scope of work under the supervision and direction of a Plastic Surgeon that is board certified by The American Board of Plastic Surgery (ABPS), the highest Board Certification designation in the field of plastic surgery. Sheila’s designation as a master injector also means she treats advanced areas with filler including the nose, glabella and temples.
Sheila has helped Coachlight Clinic & Spa become a top member of the elite company Allergan, which puts us among the busiest aesthetic offices in the United States. Jackie graduated in 2001 with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Mary in Bismarck, ND. Jackie has a variety of nursing experience in the hospital, clinic, and surgical settings. While specializing in aesthetic nursing she is sure to take care of the patient every step along the way. Jackie has accumulated over 15 years of advanced experience with cosmetic injectables such as Botox Cosmetic, Dysport, Juvederm, Restalyne, and Radiesse. Laura brings over 12 years of experience as a nurse and prior to specializing in aesthetics, she provided care for patients in emergency and clinical settings. Laura loves being able to make patients look and feel great through the art and science of injectable aesthetics. Her favorite treatment areas include the lips, cheek, and chin to help flatter a patient’s natural features. In her free time, she enjoys staying active with her family.
Heather Walker – RN, BSN
Nurse Injector
Heather joined the Coachlight injectable team in 2021 and her background includes over twenty years’ experience as a registered nurse. Her most recent experience was supporting patients in a plastic & cosmetic surgery office, and she has been working with injectable patients since 2019. Heather enjoys the aesthetic practice simply because she loves seeing the confidence it brings to patients. Educating and evaluating her patients with options that help them achieve their aesthetic goals is her specialty!
Jessica Moore, RN, BSN

Jess joined the Coachlight team with over 10 years of experience as a registered nurse. Prior to specializing in aesthetics, Jess provided care for patients in a variety of settings, including medical and surgical patients in the hospital setting, as well as within maternity services. She enjoys the aesthetic practice because she loves to help regain and maintain the confidence in her clients. Her goal is to ensure each client is making informed choices as well as maintaining a natural and youthful look. Outside of work Jess enjoys spending time with her family, friends, and being active outdoors.
Mikayla Bruce, DNP, APRN, FNP-C
Nurse Practitioner
Mikayla is a Family Nurse Practitioner equipped with her Doctorate of Nursing from the University of Iowa. She has over 8 years of collective experience in a variety of settings including inpatient hospital care and Primary Care/preventative medicine. Her passion is helping others get their life back by educating on the importance of health, wellness and inner balance. She believes that chronic disease prevention starts at home with simple remedies such as, proper nutrition, vitamin supplementation and hormonal balancing. She treats every patient as an individual and does not believe in the “one size fits all” approach. Each consult and treatment plan with be different, as she personalizes them to fit the needs and wants of the individual.

Cara graduated from the Professional Cosmetology Institute in Ames, Iowa in 2002. She has been in the medical industry for over a decade and has more than 19 years of experience in the skincare field. Cara is a licensed aesthetician for the state of Iowa and a Certified Laser Technician. Her menu of services keeps growing as the medical field keeps advancing. As an advanced Laser Technician, Cara specializes in results-driven treatments including HALO, Forever Young BBL, MOXI, and INTRAcel RF Microneedling. She is also certified in body contouring and fat reduction procedures including CoolSculpting and EMSCULPT. She has been in the beauty industry for more than 15 years as a makeup artist and body painter and graduated from Iowa School of Beauty in 2017. She is honored that her patients trust her with their concerns regarding body sculpting, hair removal, acne, retexturing, and pigment management. Her additional certifications include microneedling, laser hair removal, CoolSculpting, BBL, MOXI, and HALO.

Niki is the full-time lead coordinator supporting Coachlight guests and providers for the best experience and journey. With over a decade of experience in aesthetics, Niki has been a Licensed Esthetician and former aesthetics educator since 2012. Before that, she honed her skills in high-end cosmetics and skincare as a retail manager, giving her a deep understanding of both the science and artistry behind great skin.
When she’s not helping clients achieve their best self at Coachlight, you can find Niki curled up under a fuzzy blanket with a good book—because she’s always cold, even in the summer!
